A little bit more about Vicky:
Vicky hails from New York City. Though the city is not particularly lush, she’s recently moved to Queens and has started a flourishing vegetable garden in her yard. She also has a rotating collection of about a dozen plants, shared between her and her mother, that serve as pieces of home while she is on campus. As an architecture major, Vicky is incredibly passionate about the influence and importance of good design. At the YSFP, she is learning more about how she might merge her design interests with food sustainability. Her favorite events so far have been the plant dye workshops. She finds immense joy and tranquility amongst the bees floating around and enjoying flowers at the farm.
