A little bit more about Soledad:
Soledad is a senior at Yale College from Brooklyn, New York who works as a Seed to Salad coordinator and a senior adviser on the farm. Since her pre-orientation experience on Harvest, Soledad has loved the farm’s positivity, down-to-earth attitude, and inclusiveness. Whether gathering at the pavilion for pizza, watching second graders marvel over black and white skunk beans, or wandering around by herself, she is grateful for the space the YSFP creates and maintains in the community. Soledad is proud to be a part of this effort during Seed to Salad by welcoming volunteers and local New Haven second graders to the farm. She loves the way the program encourages people to spend time outside, connect with nature, and be inquisitive. Working alongside her peers and students, she always finds herself learning a ton.
