A little bit more about Kenia:
Kenia is a culinary events manager, and loves it because it allows her to attend every Knead 2 Know and eat lots of free pizza -- especially her favorite, sweetzas! From Cleveland, Ohio, Kenia comes from a long line of farmers, and has always been interested in nature and the land. Though YSFP has been her first experience on a farm, it definitely won't be her last! She's also involved with Love Fed New Haven, a local community farm and food justice organization, and the Midwest Black Farmers and Urban Gardeners coalition. As a Computing and the Arts + ER&M double major, Kenia is interested in Environmental Justice, fighting food apartheid, and generally creating more environmentally healthy and equitable communities!
