Meet Katie Michels ’23!
Katie is interested in the stories we tell about land, and whose stories of connection to place are elevated. With the support of the Global Food Fellowship program, she interviewed livestock farmers in Vermont about how they manage their land, and why. She plans to continue to work in ways that support land conservation, land stewardship, and resilient rural communities. She considers Montana and Vermont home, and enjoys exploring Connecticut’s forests and waterbodies.
