A little bit about Gavi:

The farm has been a central part of Gavi’s experience at Yale since she first arrived on campus. She spent Harvest, the YSFP’s pre-orientation program, on Massaro Farm and was embraced by the loving YSFP community early on. She started working as a communications manager in the fall of 2017 and has since enjoyed having the opportunity to engage with many different facets of the YSFP, from speaker events, to social media managing, to farm work days. Knead 2 know is Gavi’s favorite time of the week because she feels so much love and warmth under the pavilion. Meeting new people and convening with friends over hot pizza, discussing which vegetables are growing on the Old Acre, enjoying live music, and learning about a wide variety of food-related topics from k2k speakers—what could be better!
