Meet Catherine Webb:
Ever since stewarding a Three Sisters garden her senior year of high school, Catherine has grown a passion for Indigenous foodways and food sovereignty activism. Catherine has continued this passion with the Yale Farm as the Seedkeeper and Programs Liaison between the YSFP and the Native American Cultural Center. Since her first year, Catherine has acted as a moderator, panelist, poet, educator, cook, speaker, and steward in this role. As a 2021 summer intern, Catherine has loved spending time on the farm and getting to know all the plants. Her favorite part is snacking on the farm’s delicious fruits and veggies while working! Outside of her involvement with the farm, Catherine is an artist and a crew on the varsity sailing team.
