More about Pete:
Pete Muhitch is a junior at Stanford University majoring in Earth Systems Science with interests in terrestrial ecosystems and soil science. His introduction to food systems came in middle school when a family friend inspired him to start growing and pickling his own banana peppers (instead of continuing to steal theirs). Over the years the pursuit of pickled peppers transitioned into a passion for the science of how we grow food. When not farming, he’s probably climbing rocks or trees, surfing, or walking long distances in the woods. He is also a published songwriter. Give him a listen wherever you stream music!
