Meet Natalie Smink ’24!
Natalie is from Denver, Colorado where she grew up taking advantage of Colorado's 300+ days of sun a year hiking, skiing, playing soccer, and generally spending as much time outdoors as possible. When not outside, Natalie loves to be in the kitchen baking for her friends and family. She was first introduced to the Old Acre through her first-year seminar, and it has been her favorite place on campus ever since. She loves getting her hands dirty and chasing the chickens around the farm during farm workdays. Her time on the farm has fueled a passion for regenerative farming and the carbon capture potential of agriculture systems, which she is looking forward to exploring more as a YSFP Summer Intern. Natalie cannot wait to help welcome students back to the Old Acre as a Farm Manager and spend more time with her hands in the dirt.
