Meet Isabella Zou ’23!
Isa loves food and land, and she spent the summer writing and dancing about them! She loves thinking about and exploring ways to gain embodied knowledge of our interdependence with land and all beings. As an ER&M major, she studies embodied, sociopolitical and spiritual liberation, and she's so grateful to the Yale Farm for supporting her explorations of the intersection of dance, protest and indigenous studies. Beyond that, she's a writer and journalist focusing on issues of race and justice who has worked for the Texas Tribune and the CT Mirror. She serves as senior editor at the Yale Daily News Magazine, dances with the Yale Modern Dance Collective, and music directs the a cappella group Whim 'n Rhythm.
