Meet Byron Huang ’24!
Hi! My name is Byron and I am from Los Angeles. My love and passion for food and agriculture really grew when I took a farming elective in school where we learned to grow yummy vegetables. Naturally, I was guided towards cooking where I spent a lot of time studying different techniques and cuisines with other chefs. It also sparked a keen interest in sustainable agriculture where I learned how to build hydroponic farms! I learned so many different recipes and newfound knowledge about food and agriculture while talking to others, which is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Yale Farm. Discussing anything food related is such a great and relaxing time, and I hope to do so more at the Farm.
