A little bit more about Raffa:

Raffa is a first year Master of Environmental (MEM) student at Yale’s School of the Environment, focusing on ecosystem management, environmental sociology, and regenerative agriculture. He is passionate about understanding the way humans relate with nature and creating pathways for environmental and psychological regeneration. Between pressing apples and turning compost on the farm, Raffa works as a social data scientist for the Yale Program on Climate Communication. He is also a researcher for Dr. Justin Farrell’s lab on Western Land issues, where he works with Native American communities on data-sovereignty issues and carbon-market access. In his free time, Raffa writes environmental poetry, plays the flute, and practices fire performance.
