A little bit more about Noa:
Noa is a creative visual lead for the farm. As a native New Yorker, she was drawn to working here by her interests in photography and the many opportunities the YSFP offers to learn about food and agriculture. Already inspired by her mom's passion for cooking, the opportunity to photograph speaker events, lunches, and classes has sparked a real love for food research. She is interested in the political and socioeconomic effects of food deserts in urban areas and how to bring food literacy to people affected by hunger and poverty. Her favorite thing about the Farm is the warm community that always welcomes her there. Friday knead 2 knows are Noa's favorite place to spend the late afternoon because she always meets friendly people and eats delicious pizza while learning about food systems and practicing her photography.
