What were some of important insights you were able to take away from academic discussions?
I learned that the systematic problems involved in our food system require deep unpacking to even begin to understand and subsequently fix.
What was most personally valuable to you about the internship?
I think the most valuable part of the internship for me was the people I worked with. I would never have met and bonded with my fellow interns and bosses if it weren't for this close-knit group on the farm.
