Meet Brianna Jefferson ’23!
Brianna is from Toronto, Canada and enjoys spending their time outdoors with friends and families. At Yale she discovered her love for studying the intersection of human health and the environment. She had attended a few Knead 2 Knows during the school year, but had not fully immersed herself in the Farm until this summer. She learned a lot about agriculture and food systems through the weekly guest speakers of the internship. Her summer project studied Armory Community Garden, and helped her reflect on the importance of community gardens in cities facing food apartheid. Outside of the Farm you can find her playing squash or reading a book on cross campus.
