Yale Sustainable Food Program

In the Classroom

Collaboration with Yale’s faculty is a crucial piece of the Sustainable Food Program’s work: practical lessons taught on the Farm or in the field enrich classroom lectures, inspiring interdisciplinary inquiry that crosses departmental barriers and encourages original research. Yale offers over 20 courses on food and agriculture each semester, enrolling approximately 1,000 students, and the demand for on-campus programming continues to climb. A major goal of the Sustainable Food Project is to help guide both undergraduates and graduate students looking to incorporate food and agriculture into their course of study.
